Join the enterprise technology organization of a major beverage manufacturing and distribution company supporting business-critical platforms, technology integrations, cybersecurity initiatives, and broader enterprise transformation efforts.
The Project Management Office partners with business leaders, application teams, cybersecurity professionals, technology specialists, and external software vendors to deliver complex initiatives across the organization. This opportunity is best suited for a versatile IT Project Manager who can quickly understand different technology environments, establish structure, and lead teams without needing to be the deepest technical expert in the room.

- W2 contract engagement.
- Ownership of a large, highly visible third-party software integration project.
- Responsibility for two to three additional technology initiatives.
- Exposure to cybersecurity, enterprise applications, software vendors, and cross-functional delivery teams.
- Direct interaction with business leaders and technology stakeholders.
- Hybrid schedule requiring four days per week onsite in Charlotte, North Carolina.

How You Will Make An Impact
- Lead a major initiative focused on integrating enterprise systems with a third-party software platform.
- Manage two to three smaller projects, including an initiative supporting the cybersecurity organization.
- Direct projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Coordinate internal business teams, application teams, cybersecurity stakeholders, technical specialists, and external vendors.
- Translate technical delivery activities into clear plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and business-facing updates.
- Manage third-party vendor commitments, timelines, deliverables, and escalation needs.
- Maintain project schedules, work breakdown structures, status reports, change logs, risk plans, and contingency plans.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, actual expenses, and resource plans.
- Identify and resolve integration dependencies involving internal systems and external software platforms.
- Facilitate project meetings, document decisions, assign action items, and ensure follow-through.
- Navigate stakeholder disagreements with a firm, diplomatic, and fact-based approach.
- Partner with Agile delivery teams while maintaining appropriate enterprise project governance.
- Proactively identify delivery improvements and recommend solutions to complex project challenges.
Are You an Experienced Enterprise IT Project Leader Ready to Make an Impact?
- Five or more years of progressively responsible IT project-management experience is preferred.
- Broad experience managing projects across multiple IT functions rather than within only one specialized discipline.
- Demonstrated success managing third-party software implementations or systems-integration projects.
- Experience coordinating internal technical teams and external software vendors.
- Ability to manage projects involving applications, cybersecurity, infrastructure, business teams, or other enterprise technology functions.
- Strong project planning, budgeting, forecasting, resource management, risk management, and change-control experience.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly and ask effective questions without needing to be the technical subject-matter expert.
- Experience working with Agile teams or in a hybrid delivery environment is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, or a related discipline is preferred.
- PMP or comparable project-management certification is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work onsite in Charlotte four days per week.
