Comrise is looking for a Validation Technician – Serviceability to join the Operations team in Foster City, CA. This is a Full-time on-site position (usually 30+ hours/week) focused on supporting rework validations and service procedure development for company vehicles.

Position Overview

In this role, you will partner closely with the lead validation technician to execute rework validation activities identified by engineering. You will evaluate, validate, and time-study service procedures to ensure safe, efficient execution while improving overall serviceability and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validation Support: Assist the Lead Validation Technician in executing rework validations, service procedure validations, and time studies.

  • Technical Documentation: Develop detailed service instructions based on engineering processes and insights gained from validation activities.

  • Collaboration: Partner with documentation and quality teams to create and refine service procedures, service bulletins, and rework documentation.

  • Operational Reporting: Represent base operations in RRB forums, providing updates on ongoing validation and rework activities.

  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve rework processes and documentation workflows.

  • Rework Readiness: Ensure all reworks are fully validated and ready prior to release to Base Operations repair teams.

  • Time Studies: Conduct comprehensive time studies for mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic service procedures.

  • Tooling & Standards: Support tooling validation activities and maintain updated standard labor repair time guides.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: 4–6 years of hands-on experience in validation and testing.

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Automotive Technology or a related technical field.

  • Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and connector pinouts.

  • Diagnostics: Proficient with automotive diagnostic tools and test equipment.

  • Software: Experience tracking issues and test results using tools such as Jira.

  • Competencies: Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently while following direction from a lead technician.

  • Pay Rate: 51.36 USD Per Hour.
