Network Engineer - W2 Contract

One of our clients, an International IT support & solutions serving the automotive industry is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Network Engineer. This role focuses on designing, implementing, managing and supporting enterprise network infrastructure and security solutions across both on-premise and cloud environments.
You will play a key role in ensuring network performance, security, and reliability, working with modern tools such as Infoblox, Pulse Secure, PAC File administration, Zscaler, and Palo Alto firewalls.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions
- Configure and support Pulse Secure VPN for secure remote access
- Develop and maintain PAC (Proxy Auto-Configuration) files
- Implement and manage Zscaler ZIA (Internet Access) for secure web traffic
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls
- Collaborate with security teams on compliance and incident response
- Monitor network performance and resolve complex issues
- Integrate network security tools and support automation initiatives
- Maintain detailed network documentation and procedures
- Stay current with emerging technologies and security trends
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Infoblox (DNS/DHCP/IPAM)
- Strong knowledge of Pulse Secure VPN
- Experience managing PAC files for proxy configurations
- Experience with Zscaler ZIA deployment and administration
- Proficiency in Palo Alto firewall configuration and troubleshooting
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking and security principles
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Certifications such as Infoblox Certified Administrator, Palo Alto PCNSE, Zscaler or Pulse Secure certifications are big plus.
- Experience in enterprise-scale environments
- Knowledge of cloud networking and security integration
- Experience with network automation / scripting
- Japanese skills is big plus.
While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift 10-25 pounds if needed. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision and hearing.
