Job Summary:
Provide user support and customer service on company-supported computer applications and platforms. Troubleshoot problems and advise on the appropriate action.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, or electronically
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
- Research questions using available information resources
- Advise user on appropriate action
- Follow standard help desk procedures
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention to the correct resources
- Track requests, document progress and solutions using ticketing software
- Set-up and install computers
Education and Experience:
- Associates degree, equivalent work experience or highly active computer enthusiast
- Must have a strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication, time management and organizational skills; the ability to handle multiple tasks with limited direction; be able to perform in an environment where priorities can change rapidly; complete tasks with a high attention to detail and thoroughness.
