Job Title: C# Developer
Location: Richmond, VA
Duration: 05 months
Work Schedule: First month will be onsite, then it will go to two days a week
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced C# Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality .NET applications. The role focuses on building and enhancing large, menu-driven business systems such as claims processing, payroll, medical, or insurance applications. This is a hands-on development role requiring strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on complex systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain C#/.NET applications
- Build and enhance Angular-based user interfaces
- Develop and maintain SQL Server databases and T-SQL queries
- Create, modify, and maintain screens, reports, and transactions
- Handle data transfer between application screens and large datasets
- Debug, maintain, and enhance existing code (no APIs used)
- Participate in design, planning, and project meetings
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues
- Report project status and technical risks to leadership
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of C# programming experience (.NET 3.1 or higher)
- 2+ years of Angular experience
- 3+ years of SQL Server experience
- Experience with large, menu-driven business systems (claims, payroll, medical, insurance, etc.)
- Experience with Visual Studio / Visual Studio Code
- Working knowledge of T-SQL
- Familiarity with build and deployment tools (Azure DevOps or GitHub)
- Experience working in an Agile environment
Preferred Skills
- gRPC experience
- ColdFusion experience
- Knowledge of additional programming languages (COBOL, Java, Python, PHP, etc.)
Education & Eligibility
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
