Job Description

Responsibilities

Install, terminate, label, and test low voltage cabling.
Install and troubleshoot data, phone, and intercom systems.
Read plans and follow project requirements.
Document completed work and report any issues or material needs to the foreman.
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
Build out and dress telecommunications closet racks, including equipment installation, cable organization, and labeling.

Qualifications

Experience with telecommunications, structured cabling, or low voltage systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and work independently or with a crew.
Familiarity with cable testing and installation tools.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
Experience with school intercom systems, including Valcom or Telecor, is a plus.
