Job DescriptionInspection Assistant / Production Support
Location: Troy, MI Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday 6:30 AM–3:00 PM Pay: $20/hrJob SummaryWe are hiring an Inspection Assistant in Troy, MI to support nondestructive testing and production operations. In this role, you will assist Inspectors with inspections, material handling, cleaning, shipping/receiving, and preparation of parts for processing. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within a manufacturing and inspection environment.What You’ll Be Doing• Assist Inspectors with nondestructive testing processes
• Load, unload, package, and stage customer materials and parts
• Prepare parts for processing, including pre-cleaning
• Arrange and move metal parts into baskets, tanks, or machines
• Assist with magnetic particle and liquid penetrant inspection processes
• Maintain clean work areas, machines, and equipment
• Operate or assist with material handling and production equipment
• Perform general facility and equipment maintenance as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and work instructionsWhat We’re Looking ForQualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or labor experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record required
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in EnglishSkills & Competencies:
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
• Basic math and problem-solving skills
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethicPhysical Requirements:
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
