Title: Senior Project Manager - $120 Million Industrial Construction
Location: Sacramento, CA
Salary: $200,000 - $280,000 + Bonus

Founded in the late 1800s our global design-build and construction firm employs approximately 450 professionals worldwide, with a dedicated site team of 30 professionals managing our expanding West Sacramento campus. We provide fully integrated planning, architectural design, engineering, and construction management solutions across advanced industries including aerospace, defense, life sciences, automotive, and food and beverage manufacturing. At our Sacramento area location, we are currently executing a massive 122,000-square-foot advanced food processing facility expansion. This high-profile industrial project has an expected timeline of 18 to 24 months, providing an exceptional window of localized project stability. Our firm is hiring a Senior Project Manager with concrete tilt-up and design-build experience to lead a major industrial food-processing facility expansion project in Sacramento.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage the full design-build lifecycle of a $120 million dollar plus industrial facility, serving as the primary liaison between client leadership, engineering teams, and subcontractors
  • Oversee the scheduling and execution of large-scale concrete tilt-up structural work, including crane sequencing, site logistics, and panel erection
  • Maintain rigorous critical path schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project to proactively identify long-lead equipment delays and implement recovery strategies
  • Control project financial health, managing contract scope changes, processing change orders, and ensuring the as-sold margin is maintained or exceeded
  • Lead quality control and safety programs on-site to guarantee full compliance with local building codes as well as USDA and FSMA food safety regulations

What You Need for This Position

  • Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related technical field ideal
  • 10 to 15 years of construction management experience, with a proven track record of leading heavy industrial or food and beverage manufacturing projects valued at $50 million or more
  • Demonstrated mastery of the design-build delivery method and hands-on expertise managing large-scale concrete tilt-up structural builds
  • Advanced proficiency in critical path scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
