Job Description
We are looking for an experienced HR integration specialist to support enterprise connectivity initiatives. This position focuses on building, refining, and resolving integrations centered on Workday as the system of record while collaborating with broader engineering teams on orchestration and automation solutions. The role is best suited for someone who brings strong hands-on technical depth, sound software engineering judgment, and the ability to investigate complex integration behavior across platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain enterprise integrations that connect Workday with internal and external platforms using APIs, web services, and automation tools.
• Analyze and resolve interface failures by reviewing request and response data, transaction behavior, and cross-system dependencies.
• Develop integration flows with strong controls for validation, predictable execution, exception handling, and recovery processes.
• Work closely with engineering and platform teams to support orchestration patterns through tools such as Power Automate and related workflow technologies.
• Translate Workday business process logic and data relationships into reliable technical solutions that align with system-of-record rules.
• Monitor integration health through logging, audit trails, and diagnostics to improve visibility and support operational stability.
• Configure authentication, security context, and connectivity methods to ensure secure and compliant data exchange.
• Support implementation and enhancement efforts by assessing requirements, designing technical approaches, and validating outcomes before deployment.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience building and supporting Workday integrations in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Workday APIs, web services, data structures, and business process behavior.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot integration issues at the raw request and response level without depending solely on abstraction tools.
• Solid understanding of XML technologies, schema validation, namespaces, and related integration standards.
• Experience designing resilient integrations with clear validation rules, auditability, and dependable error-handling patterns.
• Familiarity with authentication models, security configuration, and enterprise connectivity approaches for system integrations.
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams on automation, implementation, and configuration management activities.
• Background in REST API development, integration engineering principles, and HRIS-related platforms is highly valued.
