What You'll Do
- Protect and ensure the safety of hotel guests, employees, and property
- Conduct proactive foot patrols to deter and detect any unusual or suspicious activity
- Monitor security cameras and respond swiftly and professionally to incidents
- Maintain clear and accurate incident and daily activity reports
- Provide exceptional customer service — you’re often the first friendly face guests see
- Enforce safety and security protocols, and serve as an ambassador for Sheepdog's values
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required by state law)
- Clean criminal background (required for state security registration)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused in high-pressure situations
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Prior security or related experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train motivated individuals!
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
