Information Security Engineer – AI Driven Coding ------ NO C2C or 3rd Party Assistance

Location: Pontiac, MI. 100% onsite

Long term contract. W2 Employment, Self represented only

Up to $68/hour with employee benefits.

Job Summary: We are hiring an Information Security Engineer to configure and secure next-generation AI coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex) within our IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for locking down container environments, securing DevOps pipelines, testing controls, and training internal County personnel.

What You Will Do:

• Set up access restrictions, network controls, credential safety, and logging for developer AI tools.
• Secure Docker containers and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Test security controls, solve technical roadblocks, and document gaps.
• Create easy-to-follow documentation and conduct staff training before project completion.

What We Are Looking For:

• Proven experience in Docker container security and Linux administration.
• Expertise with Azure DevOps repositories, permissions, and pipelines.
• Proficiency with Git, JSON, and YAML configuration files.
• Experience with AI development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex, MCPs).
• Strong technical writing and communication skills for team handoffs.
