Field Technician I
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Duration: 6 month contract
Role Description
This is an entry level position. Telecom background. Installation of Fiber Optic Cable and Testing. Looking for someone with a technical skillset that can follow installation standards. Good Comprehensive skills. Customer Centric.
- Ability to use hand tools, testing instruments, and computerized devices for installation and troubleshooting.
- Capable of diagnosing network or equipment issues under pressure and providing timely solutions.
- Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with both customers and team members.
- Ensuring accuracy in installations, repairs, and documentation to prevent service interruptions and compliance violations.
- Knowledge of workplace hazards and protocols to protect self and others.
Non-technical Skills are necessary:
Communication, Collaboration and Teamwork, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Time Management, and Customer Obsession.
Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation
- Basic small tools such as screwdrivers, small wrenches, side cutters, etc.
