Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with expertise in Cloud Service Management to join our team in Nashville, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions while ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
- Design and implement scalable, highly available cloud architectures using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate cloud resource provisioning and management
- Implement and manage containerization solutions using technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment processes
- Monitor cloud environments and implement logging solutions to ensure optimal performance and quick issue resolution
- Implement and maintain cloud security best practices to protect company assets and data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud service management and resource utilization
- Develop and implement cost optimization strategies for cloud resources
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on cloud service management
- Strong proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools for cloud environments
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices
- Background in IT infrastructure or systems administration
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator (preferred)
- Experience with cost optimization strategies for cloud resources
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
