Job Summary

\n

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Java Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS cloud services, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and CI/CD automation using Jenkins.

\n

This role requires participation throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through deployment, support, and continuous improvement.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-performance Java applications.

\n

• Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

\n

• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot and related frameworks.

\n

• Design and implement cloud-native solutions utilizing AWS services.

\n

• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

\n

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate build, testing, and deployment processes.

\n

• Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure software quality and reliability.

\n

• Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.

\n

• Integrate applications with internal and external systems using APIs, messaging platforms, and cloud services.

\n

• Conduct performance tuning, optimization, and application monitoring.

\n

• Implement security best practices, coding standards, and compliance requirements.

\n

• Create and maintain technical documentation, design artifacts, and operational procedures.

\n

• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance application performance and development efficiency.

\n

• Support production deployments and resolve application issues as needed.

\n

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

\n

• 5+ years of professional software development experience using Java.

\n

• Strong experience with Java 8/11/17 and object-oriented design principles.

\n

• Hands-on experience developing microservices using Spring Boot.

\n

• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and API integrations.

\n

• Strong knowledge of AWS services, including:

• EC2

\n

• ECS/EKS

\n

• Lambda

\n

• S3

\n

• RDS

\n

• CloudWatch

\n

• IAM

\n

• VPC

\n

• Experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.

\n

• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

\n

• Proficiency with Git and modern source code management practices.

\n

• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.

\n

• Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.

\n

• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.

\n

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

\n

• Knowledge of messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS/SNS.

\n

• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

\n

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus.

\n

• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and cloud security principles.

\n

• AWS Certification (Developer Associate, Solutions Architect, or similar) is a plus.
