Senior Power BI Developer - Chicago (Hybrid, Contract-to-Hire)
Our client, a large real estate organization headquartered in downtown Chicago, is looking for a Senior Power BI Developer to own reporting and analytics for the business. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a strong track record of converting to full-time.
You'll build and maintain dashboards and reports that go in front of company leadership, working independently with real ownership over the Power BI environment rather than being one of many on a large team. Strong DAX and Power Query skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of data modeling fundamentals. Exposure to Microsoft Fabric or AI-enabled analytics tools is a plus.
This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence in downtown Chicago three days a week, with flexibility to be more remote as you get established.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years of hands-on Power BI development, including complex DAX and Power Query
- Comfort working independently and taking ownership of your work
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Eligible to work for a US employer on a direct-hire basis without visa sponsorship
