Our client is a high-tech facilities manufacturer looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to be responsible for leading the design, development, prototype fabrication, and verification testing of our products.

Responsibilities

- \n
- Creation and editing of models and assemblies
- Development of detail drawings, bills of material, specifications
- Update existing production designs and drawings
- Establish test plans to validate new/modified designs or benchmark existing designs
- Prepare engineering changes, process documentation, and reports
- Interface with sales, product management, manufacturing, outside suppliers, and end users
- Analyze customer requirements and test results and propose solutions
- Research alternative methods, components, designs, processes, or materials
- Respond to internal or external technical problems and pursue to resolution
- Produce documentation in the form of bulletins and manuals
- Generate novel and practical solutions to a variety of problems

Qualifications
\n
- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Ability to design with SolidWorks
- Experience with GD&T
