Job Description

Nexus Circular is the commercial leader in advanced recycling technology that converts landfill-bound plastics into circular feedstocks for the production of sustainable virgin plastics for packaging and other applications. Nexus Circular’s end-to-end solution is economically validated as demonstrated by consistent bulk sales of high quality, ISCC Plus circular feedstocks for virgin plastic production. Aligned with global partners who seek proven scalable solutions to meet ambitious plastic circularity goals, Nexus Circular is rapidly expanding its innovation footprint worldwide, moving decisively to address the complex challenges of plastics accumulation in the environment.

Nexus has built an outstanding culture. We are looking for people to contribute to a fast-paced, environmentally committed business that is focused on growth and sustainability. We are very collaborative, transparent, data driven, value diverse perspectives and are looking for constructive initiatives and new ideas. We are looking for self-starters and independent thinkers who work collaboratively in teams. Given the growth stage of Nexus, we are also looking for people who are comfortable moving between strategic thinking and executing those ideas to take Nexus to the next level.

Position Overview

Nexus Circular is seeking a Project Analyst to support the build-out of our Project Management Office (PMO) and drive execution excellence across major capital projects. This role is critical in bridging gaps between engineering, procurement, and construction teams by providing structured coordination, schedule integration, and cost visibility.

In the near term, this role will play a key part in supporting the 6B project, ensuring alignment across disciplines and enabling leadership to make informed, data-driven decisions.

Business Value of the Role

This position is not just administrative—it is a force multiplier for project execution. The Project Analyst will:

· Improve Schedule Certainty
Integrate engineering, procurement, and construction activities into a single master schedule, reducing misalignment and delays.

· Enhance Cost Control & Forecasting
Support cost tracking, accruals, and forecasting to improve financial visibility and prevent budget overruns.

· Enable Faster Decision-Making
Provide clear, structured reporting and analytics so leadership can proactively manage risks and opportunities.

· Reduce Execution Risk
Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and dependencies across project scopes before they impact field execution.

· Scale the PMO Function
Establish repeatable processes, tools, and standards that will support future projects beyond 6B.

Key Responsibilities

Project Scheduling & Coordination (25%)

· Develop and maintain integrated master project schedules across engineering, procurement, and construction scopes

· Coordinate with discipline leads to ensure accurate activity sequencing, durations, and dependencies

· Identify critical path impacts and proactively flag risks

EPC Integration (10%)

· Align engineering deliverables with procurement timelines and construction execution plans

· Track key milestones across all project phases

· Facilitate cross-functional coordination meetings and follow-ups

Cost & Financial Support (20%)

· Assist in cost tracking, forecasting, and accruals

· Support budget management and change tracking

· Partner with finance and project managers to ensure accurate reporting

PMO Development (45%)

· Support the development of PMO standards, templates, and reporting tools

· Build dashboards and reporting structures for leadership visibility

· Help implement best practices for project controls and governance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field

Finance or business administration is also allowed with manufacturing and/or technical experience.

  • 2–5+ years of experience in project controls, project management, or EPC environments
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling (Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar)
  • Experience with cost tracking and financial reporting on capital projects
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Skills around traditional waterfall (GANTT) chart project management, resource loading, cost loading, and critical path analysis are required
  • Experience with understanding engineering, equipment procurement, and construction contracts

Preferred Experience

· Experience supporting large-scale industrial, oil & gas, chemical, or infrastructure projects

· Familiarity with EPC project lifecycles

· Exposure to PMO development or project controls frameworks

Why This Role Matters

This role sits at the center of execution. Without it, projects risk operating in silos—leading to schedule slips, cost overruns, and reactive decision-making. With it, we gain alignment, visibility, and control.

Growth Opportunity

This position offers a path into:

· Project Controls Lead

· Project Manager

· PMO Leadership

· Engineering supporting plant or capital initiatives at Nexus Circular
