SAIC is seeking aSubmarine/UnderseaSystems Engineerfor a position located at theWashington Navy Yardlocated in Washington, DC. This position is 100% onsite.
Job Duties:

- Provide acquisition support for the acquisition and life-cycle management of submarine and undersea systems to include all phases of project and systems management from initial capabilities documentation to system delivery and follow-on life cycle support.
- Provide technical analysis and program/project management to support the acquisition of undersea systems, provide scope, guidance, and assessment of trade studies, technical assessments, produce/review/validate technical configuration documentation and assist in the document control process, schedule and support acquisition milestone events/reviews, and provide assessments and analysis for cost estimates and cost control actions.
- Coordinate and participate in program and technical status meetings/reviews, developing inputs, documenting proceedings, and tracking action items.

Qualifications
Education and experience:

- Shall have a Bachelor's degree or six (6) years of experience; years of experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree with a preference in a technical/engineering field of study.
- Shall have at least five (5) years of experience providing technical and program management support for the acquisition or life-cycle support of a submarine Program Office.

\nRequired clearance:
- Must have an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with CI Poly.
\nDesired Qualifications:
- \n
- Experience with undersea systems, deep submergence systems, remotely operated or autonomous undersea systems.
- Experience with Navy acquisition, Navy Shipbuilding, Submarine/Undersea domain.

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
