Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Representative / Manager to join a growing aerospace design and manufacturing organization. This position is ideal for a self-starter who is passionate about quality, aerospace manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting quality assurance activities across aerospace manufacturing and modification operations while ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Support and maintain quality assurance processes across aerospace manufacturing operations.

Review contracts, customer requirements, specifications, and applicable quality standards.

Support internal departments including Manufacturing Engineering, Production, and Product Inspection.

Conduct internal quality audits and assist with corrective and preventive action activities.

Support root-cause analysis and corrective action processes.

Assist with employee quality training as needed.

Interface with quality representatives from customers and suppliers.

Ensure compliance with applicable FAA, NADCAP, and aerospace quality requirements.

Support quality requirements related to composites machining, metal forming, assembly, and special processes.

Monitor quality performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Maintain accurate quality documentation and records.
Qualifications
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in Aerospace Quality Assurance.

Minimum 2 years of experience with composites, aircraft modification, and/or FAA Repair Station operations.

Working knowledge of NADCAP requirements, particularly in:

Composites machining
-
Metal forming
-
Assembly
-
Special processes
-

Experience conducting internal audits and supporting corrective action processes.

Strong understanding of aerospace quality systems, customer requirements, and specifications.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications

Quality certifications or training such as CQI, CQA, or CQE.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience working directly with aerospace customers and suppliers.

Experience with FAA regulatory and repair station requirements.
