Join a team supporting advanced autonomous maritime systems as they transition from development into production and deployment. This role serves as a technical leader across integration, manufacturing, testing, and production support activities, helping resolve complex issues and ensuring systems are delivered successfully. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced engineering environments, enjoys troubleshooting challenging technical problems, and works effectively across multiple engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead system integration, production support, and technical issue resolution activities across complex hardware and software systems.
  • Serve as the primary engineering point of contact for manufacturing, assembly, integration, and test organizations.
  • Investigate technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions to resolution.
  • Coordinate implementation of engineering changes, design updates, and configuration-controlled modifications into production systems.
  • Work closely with mechanical, electrical, software, systems, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Support production readiness reviews, design reviews, failure investigations, and technical assessments.
  • Develop and improve processes related to integration, testing, issue disposition, and system validation.
  • Provide technical leadership during system builds, production events, customer demonstrations, and field activities.

Essential Skills

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to solve complex cross-functional technical issues.
  • Experience supporting production, integration, systems engineering, or manufacturing engineering efforts.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary hardware and software development teams.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, program, and customer stakeholders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience with tools such as DOORS, Jama, Windchill, and configuration management software.

Work Environment

This position is onsite in Pocasset, MA. The role involves working in a dynamic engineering environment where collaboration with various engineering disciplines is essential.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Bourne, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
