We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Engineer Embedded Software 3 to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the development and integration of real-time embedded software systems, ensuring compliance with software standards and collaborating effectively within a multi-discipline team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support requirements development, architecture development, detailed design, code unit test, and integration test of real-time computer embedded software.
  • Ensure software standards are consistently met.
  • Collaborate in a multi-discipline team environment to achieve project objectives.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems, or a related field.
  • Object Oriented Software development experience in C/C++ within a Linux environment.
  • Experience in embedded real-time software development, debugging, and testing.
  • Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) environments such as VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, Yocto Linux, or equivalent.
  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance, investigated within the last 5 years.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with PowerPC, ARM, and/or RISC-V architectures.
  • Experience in design integration and testing with real-time computer-in-loop and hardware-in-loop test laboratories.
  • Experience in developing interfaces to support weapon system integration efforts.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an embedded environment.
  • Familiarity with RTOS functionality, with at least 2 years of internship or professional experience.

Work Environment

This position is based at a desk station within a closed area. The work schedule follows a 9/80 pattern, providing every other Friday off, with 5 days in the office and flexible start times.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Chandler, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72.00 - $83.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
