Role Summary
The DBA manages and maintains Plant Installed SQL databases, ensuring performance, reliability, security, and compliance with NQA 1 Subpart 2.7. This role supports configuration management, database design, and optimization activities.
Responsibilities
•Configure, maintain, update, and troubleshoot SQL databases.
•Perform performance tuning, optimization, and database design.
•Develop stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, and SSIS packages.
•Support configuration management and documentation requirements.
•Ensure database compliance with NQA 1 Subpart 2.7.
Education Qualification
•B.A./B.S. degree in a technical field (implied by role requirements).
Professional Experience
•Minimum five (5) years of experience with SQL databases.
•Experience with configuration management and performance management.
•Experience developing stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, and SSIS.
