About the Role
Diodes Incorporated is seeking a Design Engineer to develop high-performance analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for advanced serial communication applications. This role spans product definition through release to manufacturing and works closely with architecture, verification, applications, layout, and new product development teams.
What You’ll Do
• Design analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits from product definition through release to manufacturing.
• Support architecture definition, including feasibility studies and evaluation of design trade-offs.
• Develop analog circuits that meet functional, performance, quality, and reliability requirements.
• Perform top-level and block-level analog design verification using current testbench development, automation, and data-analysis methodologies.
• Provide design support to application engineers and customers during product designins.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary new product development teams.
• Partner with the Design Verification team to support robust, bug-free silicon.

Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of analog design experience supporting high-speed serial communication protocols such as UFS or MIPI, USB, PCIe, DisplayPort, or HDMI.
• Working experience with analog building blocks such as equalizers, current mirrors, operational amplifiers, bandgap references, oscillators, and regulators.
• Proficiency with design and simulation tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre or HSPICE, and 3D electromagnetic extraction tools.
• Experience with layout principles, matching techniques, parasitic extraction, and postlayout verification.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience contributing to UFS 5.0, USB4 Version 2.0, or PCIe 6.0 development.
• Experience with advanced CMOS and BiCMOS process technologies.
• Knowledge of reliability considerations including ESD, latch-up, electromigration, and stress effects.
• Working knowledge of analog design verification.
• Experience with silicon bring-up, debugging, and characterization.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong time-management skills and a record of delivering projects on schedule.
