We’re looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Architect with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Microservices, and Payments Technology to lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing payment applications.

Location: New York, NY (4 Days Onsite)
\n
Duration: 6 Months (Possibility of Extension)

\n
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
\n
- \n
- Lead the architecture, design, development, and deployment of enterprise payment applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and Microservices
- Design secure and scalable REST APIs and event-driven solutions
- Architect high-performance applications with a strong focus on scalability, security, availability, and transaction processing
- Develop modern frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript
- Design and implement backend Microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Work with payment technologies including ACH, Wire, SWIFT, RTP, ISO 20022, Card Payments, and Merchant Payments
- Collaborate with business, product, architecture, and operations teams to drive payment transformation initiatives
- Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, code reviews, mentoring, and engineering best practices
- Support CI/CD, cloud deployments, DevOps practices, and containerized application environments
- Lead distributed Agile teams and manage communication with technical and business stakeholders

Mandatory Skills:
\n
- \n
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot
- 10+ years of experience with Angular
- Strong expertise in Microservices Architecture
- Hands-on experience designing REST APIs and event-driven solutions
- Strong Payments domain experience
- Knowledge of ACH, Wire, SWIFT, RTP, ISO 20022, Card Payments, or Merchant Payments
- Kafka and event-driven architecture
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong technical leadership and stakeholder management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL
- Experience with Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong understanding of payment security and compliance
- Experience with transaction processing systems
- Experience leading distributed Agile teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
