Apparel Wholesaler is seeking a freelance Assistant Technical Designer to support its Technical Design team across Missy, Plus, Kids, and other product categories. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level or early-career technical design professional who is eager to learn in a hands-on apparel environment.

What You’ll Do
\n

- Support the Technical Design function from development through production.
- Prepare and maintain specifications, fit samples, and fit comments.
- Assist with garment fittings and communicate updates to internal teams and vendors.
- Help ensure fit, construction, measurements, and quality standards are maintained across product categories.
- Work within the Axind PLM system to update and organize technical product information.
- Partner closely with Bernarda and the broader team on day-to-day technical design needs.

What We’re Looking For
\n
- \n
- 1–2 years of Technical Design experience, or a true entry-level background with strong foundational knowledge.
- Exposure to apparel fit, specifications, fit samples, and fit comments.
- Knowledge of knit and woven construction.
- Interest in working across a broad range of apparel categories.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
- A collaborative, receptive attitude and willingness to learn from an experienced team.
