Job Description Senior Project Manager
Location: Atlanta, Ga Office (Initial assignment in Boyce, LA)

TRC Talent Solutions is partnering with a leading commercial general contractor to identify a Senior Project Manager to support the successful delivery of a large-scale construction project. This role will lead all phases of project execution, from preconstruction planning through project completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have extensive commercial construction experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record managing complex projects, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and client relationships.
Responsibilities

Lead and manage construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Oversee project budgets, cost control, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Manage contract administration, change orders, subcontractor agreements, and project documentation.

Monitor project schedules, track critical path activities, and proactively mitigate delays.

Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams.

Support preconstruction activities including estimating, scope reviews, bidding, procurement, and project planning.

Review and manage project budgets, owner billings, subcontractor pay applications, and monthly project reports.

Ensure project compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.

Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Supervise project teams and provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback.

Identify and resolve project risks, challenges, and operational issues.

Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Science, or a related field preferred.

8+ years of project management experience within commercial construction.

Experience managing large-scale commercial, industrial, healthcare, mission-critical, or data center projects preferred.

Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration.

Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.

Proficiency with project scheduling software and construction management tools.

Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, change management, and project financials.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Willingness to travel as required.
