Purpose of this Role:
Systems Engineers are responsible for Group Policy design and administration, endpoint administration, software distribution, and general systems administration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Escalated end-user application support and troubleshooting
· Root cause analysis and resolution
· Project-based implementation of new tools or policies
· Intune administration
· Endpoint configuration and compliance policy management
· Application packaging and testing
· Application deployment and lifecycle oversight
· Patch management and vulnerability remediation
· Patch My PC integration and management
· Group Policy management
· Custom PowerShell scripting for deployment and automation
· Conditional Access policy configuration (Entra ID)
· BitLocker policy management
· Deployment using Intune and custom scripts
· Globalscape SFTP configuration and support
· Vendor coordination for licensing and software issues
· BOTS/Digital Workers
· Defender for Endpoint configuration and monitoring
· Threat and vulnerability management (MDE/XDR)
· Live query writing for threat investigation
· Security baselines enforcement via Intune
· Forcepoint ONE Endpoint administration
· Web filtering configuration and policy enforcement
· SSL decryption and exception handling
· Sophos XDR administration and queries
· Device compliance reporting
· DLP policy monitoring
· Active Directory account/device hygiene
· Device and user object lifecycle management
· Data exports and client-facing inventory visibility
· Entra ID identity management
