Job Details
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the creation and execution of productivity initiatives that deliver measurable results.
- Analyze workflows, conduct time studies, and identify bottlenecks to boost efficiency.
- Collect and analyze production data using tools like Pareto analysis, SPC, DOE, and other Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing practices (5S, Kaizen, Standard Work, SMED) to improve process flow.
- Partner with operators, supervisors, and leadership to standardize work and integrate best practices.
- Facilitate Kaizen events and workshops, training employees on CI tools and problem-solving methods.
- Maintain accurate documentation of improvements, process changes, and cost savings.
- Collaborate with plant leadership to build a roadmap toward Best-in-Class manufacturing standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- 3–5+ years of experience in process improvement, manufacturing engineering, or a related field in automotive or high-volume manufacturing.
- Proven success applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies in a production environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Minitab, or similar statistical tools.
- Knowledge of Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, SMED, OEE, VSM) and familiarity with MES/ERP systems.
- Understanding of industry quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
- Willingness to travel between facilities up to 50% of the time.
