Job Title: Test Technician
Type of Role: Contract to hire
Shift / Hours: 1st Shift Monday- Friday
Location: Carrollton, TX
Hourly Range: $18.00/hr to $25.00/hr
Nature of Duties:
- Test and diagnose products to the component level.
- Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems.
- Enter test and repair results in data reporting tools.
- Work with epoxies, adhesives, thermal gels, and solder.
- Perform incoming and in-process inspections to ensure products meet quality specifications.
- Perform test equipment maintenance.
- Pack and prepare products for shipping.
Education and Experience:
- Associate's Degree / 2-year Technical Degree or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years' experience in manufacturing testing.
- Some soldering experience or certification is desired.
- Experience handling and testing of components.
- Knowledge of materials, tooling, and mechanical assembly skills for electronic products.
- Microscope and miniature microelectronic assembly skills.
- Ability to follow oral and written guidelines or drawings and accurately and concisely communicate testing results.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Detail oriented.
- Excellent Computer skills.
- Has willingness to learn, takes initiative, and offers improvement ideas.
- Able to lift or move up to 50lbs.
