Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Lead Developer of experience in AS400/COBOL Synon and CLP with a strong background in Medicare & Medicaid Claims and Payer domains.
The candidate will manage and optimize service delivery in a hybrid work model ensuring seamless operations during day shifts. This role does not require travel.
Responsibilities
Oversee the service delivery process to ensure efficient and effective operations in the Medicare & Medicaid Claims domain.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance service quality.
Implement best practices in AS400/COBOL Synon and CLP to optimize system performance.
Monitor and analyze service metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive operational excellence.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Provide technical guidance and support to the team fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations to maintain service integrity and reliability.
Lead initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and address any service-related issues promptly.
Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate new technologies and improve service delivery.
Manage resources effectively to meet service level agreements and project deadlines.
Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure adherence to service protocols and quality standards.
Facilitate training and development programs to enhance team skills and capabilities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
Possess extensive experience in AS400/COBOL Synon and CLP with a proven track record of success.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of Medicare & Medicaid Claims, Claims and Payer processes.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Show proficiency in managing hybrid work models and day shift operations.
Display strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams.
Have a deep understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Be adept at using data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategy development.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is $65,447 to $117,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
