My client is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join a global technology company focused on scientific research and drug discovery. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure cloud infrastructure, with a primary focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure across GCP and other cloud platforms.
- Partner with engineering, development, and business teams to gather requirements and deliver cloud solutions.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD automation.
- Manage cloud networking, security, storage, monitoring, and performance.
- Establish and improve cloud infrastructure standards, processes, and best practices.
- Support Linux environments and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.

Qualifications:
\n

- 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience in an enterprise environment.
- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP); AWS or Azure experience is a plus.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, GitHub/GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Advanced Linux administration experience (Ubuntu/RHEL).
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and cloud storage.
- Experience in regulated environments (ISO, SOX, GxP) is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
