Responsibilities:

• Utilize indepth knowledge and skills across multiple Applications Development areas to provide technical oversight across systems and applications Review and analyze proposed technical solutions for projects.

\n

• Contribute to formulation of strategies for applications development and other functional areas.

\n

• Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate to accomplish business goals.

\n

• Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual data in complicated and unique situations.

\n

• Impact the Applications Development area through monitoring delivery of end results.

\n

• Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards negotiating with external parties when necessary.

\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• 8-12 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry.

\n

• Experience as senior level in an Applications Development role.

\n

• Stakeholder and people management experience.

\n

• Basic knowledge of industry practices and standards.

\n

• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.

\n

• Solid understanding of objectoriented programming and design pattern.

\n

Requirements

\n
• Exhibit sound understanding of theories and practices in architecture in multiple related areas.

\n

• Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of Big Data Grid Computing Data Warehousing Cloud Computing and programming languages such as Java Spark and Python.

\n

• Extensive development expertise in building the high scaled and performant software platforms for data computation and processing.

\n

• Expert level knowledge of core Java concepts and framework such as Spring Boot.

\n

• Microservices and well versed with OOPs concepts and design patterns.

\n

• Handson experience with Apache Spark with Java.

\n

• Experience with caching solutions like Pinot Redis etc.

\n

• Strong knowledge of Oracle DB including schema design and query optimization.

\n

• Deep knowledge of how technology integrates within the organization and of direct competitors products and services.

\n

• Strong leadership.

\n

• Ability to persuade and influence senior leaders through excellent data driven communication and diplomacy skills.

\n

• Finance domain knowledge is plus.
