Looking for part-time employee to provide assistance with the administration and proctoring of professional computerized exams to candidates at the Quantum Quest Testing Center, Worcester, Massachusetts.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Greet examinees and verify identification. Perform required security checks including the use of security wands.
  • Explain exam process, ask examinees to place all personal belongings in a personal locker. Direct examinees to assigned seat, help examinees begin the exam, monitor examinees, and provide technical assistance during examination time.
  • Continuously monitor candidates as they complete exams. Report and/or resolve candidate issues with urgency
  • Ensure every candidate receives a fair and comfortable testing experience
  • Perform daily Testing Center opening and closing procedures. Perform basic technical support to fix issues related to the technology within the Testing Center.
  • Understand testing requirements for exam sponsor and perform quality and security checks of all exams prior to examination time. Ensure any special instructions/materials, etc. for exams are followed/available.
  • Maintain clean and safe Testing Center environment. This includes daily reorganization of the room and coordinating proper cleaning requirements with the cleaning service.
  • Able to pass training and testing necessary for test administrator.
  • Ability to be flexible with scheduling and days of operations

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Candidate must be open to flexible scheduling. This is a part-time position and will remain 20 hours per week, with an expectation to work more hours if needed.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with candidates and coworkers. Should be able to write detailed and accurate reports and correspondence.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Customer service experiences are preferred
  • Must be 18 years and above.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Windows-based computer and applications (including but not limited to MS Office, Outlook, Explorer-web browsing)
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift. Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time while administering exams
  • Ability to physically move through test room every 8-10 minutes and escort candidates to and from testing room
  • Visual requirements include the ability to adjust or focus computer screens and view testing room through camera monitors while proctoring the exam
  • Ability to maintain computers in the lab and office setting, by physically maneuvering in tight spaces, while maintaining safety protocols

Pay: $15:00 to $17.00 per hour (approximately 20 to 25 hours per week).

Working Days/Hours of the week:

  • Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
