Systems Manager: Blossom ABA Therapy

Location: Toms River, NJ (In office; supports organization-wide systems and technology operations)
Position Type: Full time, Exempt
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

About the Role

The Systems Manager ensures that Blossom ABA Therapy’s technology platforms, data systems, and operational tools function reliably and support high-quality service delivery. This role oversees system administration, vendor coordination, device management, development oversight, and cross-functional technology projects. The Systems Manager serves as the central point of communication between internal teams, external IT partners, and developers, ensuring that technology enhances productivity, safety, and family-centered experience.

This position is ideal for a systems-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical staff, and can manage multiple platforms, vendors, and development initiatives with consistency and accountability.

What You Will Lead

Systems Administration and Platform Oversight

  • Administration and daily oversight of core organizational platforms including Monday.com, CentralReach, Viventium, Microsoft 365, CRM systems, LMS platforms, AI tools and other operational systems.

  • Management of system configurations, permissions, workflows, automations, and integrations.

  • Assessment of existing systems to identify gaps, inefficiencies, or missing capabilities.

  • Development of recommendations for system improvements, replacements, or new solutions.

  • Leadership of vendor evaluation, selection, and onboarding when new platforms or tools are required.

  • Implementation of new software solutions, including planning, configuration, rollout, and staff training.

  • Leadership of CRM development, including requirements gathering, vendor coordination, and long-term system buildout.

  • Documentation of processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures.

  • Monitoring of system performance and identification of corrective actions.

  • Support for onboarding and off-boarding related to systems access.

Vendor and IT Coordination

  • Primary liaison with Blossom’s external IT company.

  • Coordination of device provisioning, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management.

  • Oversight of relationships with software vendors to ensure service quality and timely support.

  • Management of hardware, software, licensing, and renewals.

  • Collaboration with vendors to resolve issues, implement updates, and maintain system stability.

Developer Management

  • Supervision of internal and external developers responsible for building, maintaining, or enhancing system features, integrations, and automations.

  • Clarification of requirements, priorities, and timelines for development work.

  • Review of development output to ensure alignment with organizational needs, security standards, and workflow requirements.

  • Coordination of cross-functional input for development projects.

Project Leadership and Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Leadership of technology-related projects from planning through execution.

  • Clear communication of technical concepts to non-technical staff and accurate translation of operational needs to technical teams.

  • Facilitation of project meetings, milestone tracking, and documentation.

  • Collaboration with clinical, HR, operations, billing, and leadership teams to ensure systems support organizational goals.

  • Support for change management during system updates, new tool implementation, or workflow improvements.

Operational Support and Problem Solving

  • User support for system access, workflow questions, and platform issues.

  • Identification of complex problems, evaluation of options, and implementation of solutions.

  • Monitoring of system usage and identification of opportunities for efficiency.

  • Assistance with scheduling, reporting, and operational workflows that rely on technology.

Security, Safety, and Compliance

  • Oversight of device management, multi-factor authentication, endpoint security, and user access controls.

  • Enforcement of safe technology use and adherence to organizational policies.

  • Support for risk assessments, data protection efforts, and disaster recovery planning.

  • Collaboration with compliance teams to ensure system-related regulatory requirements are met.

What We Are Looking For

Required

  • Experience in operations, systems management, technology administration, or related fields.

  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical staff.

  • Strong decision-making skills and comfort managing multiple systems and priorities.

  • Experience coordinating with external vendors, IT partners, or developers.

  • Ability to work onsite in Toms River, NJ.

Preferred

  • Experience with cloud-based platforms such as Monday.com, CentralReach, Viventium, Microsoft 365 or similar systems.

  • Experience in healthcare, ABA, or heavily regulated/compliance-driven environments.

  • Familiarity with device management, user provisioning, or workflow automation.

  • Experience supporting multi-site or multi-department operations.

Work Environment

This role is onsite in Toms River, NJ, with occasional travel for vendor coordination, training, or leadership initiatives. The Systems Manager works closely with operations, clinical leadership, HR, billing, and external IT partners.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive salary in the range of $85,000 to $100,000 annually, health insurance, 401(k), professional development opportunities, and performance-based incentives.
