The Test Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of our products. The role will work cross-functionally to identify and resolve defects and ensure that products meet performance, reliability and user experience standards.
- Derive / verify customer test specifications
- Maintain and utilize computer software programs for test data acquisition, reduction, plotting and tracking
- Plan and conduct tests of Diesel Engines, Cross drive transmissions, and other Powertrain equipment
- Write and maintain and make improvements to Renk test procedures and standards.
- Prepare test documentation and customer presentations.
- Design and specify control systems for test cell operation, test fixtures and test equipment including system design, software and sensor selection, panel lay-out and schematic development.
- Work with test technicians in the operation and maintenance / upgrade of test equipment.
- Introduce new concepts for test engineering.
- Work closely with internal test customers.
Level / pay for this position will be commensurate with education and experience.
