Project Executive (Traveling) – Data Center Electrical
Based in Cedar Rapids, IA
$200,000–$250,000 Base + Per Diem | Available Immediately
A top-tier electrical contractor is hiring a Project Executive with deep data center experience. Based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, this role offers the chance to lead from the front, driving strategy, execution, and client success on some of the most demanding electrical builds in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Full-cycle leadership of large-scale data center projects, from precon to punch list
- Oversight of project teams, field operations, and subcontractor coordination
- Direct client engagement to align scope, schedule, and budget with precision
- Strategic planning across multiple active sites, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability
- Collaboration with estimating, engineering, and executive leadership to drive results
Qualifications:
- 10+ years in electrical contracting, with proven success in executive-level project leadership
- Extensive experience in hyperscale data center construction
- Strong command of electrical systems, commissioning, and mission-critical infrastructure
- Confident communicator and relationship builder with clients, teams, and stakeholders
