Compensation

6-month contract-to-hire at a senior contract rate, converting to a full-time position with a $120,000-$165,000 base salary, plus bonus and benefits. The contract rate reflects the absence of benefits during the contract period and will be discussed during the initial conversation.

About the Role

A growing residential solar and storage organization is seeking a NetSuite Technical Lead / ERP Lead to provide technical direction for its ERP platform.

Operations, project management, and finance rely on Oracle NetSuite, including the Blu Banyan SolarSuccess SuiteApp, with integrations through Celigo (integrator.io) and direct SuiteTalk REST / SuiteQL integrations.

This role will own the ERP roadmap, lead and mentor NetSuite developers, establish technical standards, and remain hands-on when needed to develop solutions and support releases.

What You Will OwnThe Function

Own the ERP roadmap, including sequencing, estimating, and delivering the operations automation backlog.
Provide technical leadership to NetSuite developers, including priorities, code reviews, standards, and mentoring.
Establish governance around sandbox-first development, scripted deployments, change control, configuration documentation, environment refreshes, and integration credentials.
Partner closely with operations, finance, engineering, and business stakeholders.

The Technical Surface

SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, saved searches, and custom records supporting project, financing, and installation workflows.
Integration records, authentication, RESTlets, inbound endpoints, SuiteQL, and REST integrations.
Define payload and ownership boundaries between NetSuite, platform engineering, and integration teams.

First 90 Days

Develop workflow automation, including financial events currently requiring manual updates.
Implement milestone tracking and event publishing to customer-communication services.
Improve project-management monitoring and automation, including alerts, task creation, approval queues, reminders, and escalations.
Automate business rules involving permitting, utility and HOA requirements, insurance requirements, adders, equipment validation, and change orders.

What We Are Looking ForMust Have

3+ years of Oracle NetSuite experience, including at least 2 years owning an account's customization and integration layer end-to-end.
Strong experience with SuiteScript 2.1 / 2.x, including User Event, Client, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, RESTlet, Suitelet, and Workflow Action scripts.
Strong knowledge of SuiteFlow, saved searches, SuiteAnalytics, custom records, fields, forms, lists, roles, and permissions.
Experience with SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) and SuiteCloud CLI, including Git-based source control.
Strong experience with SuiteQL and SuiteTalk REST Web Services.
Experience with OAuth 2.0 client credentials / M2M certificates, TBA, integration records, and sandbox refresh procedures.
Experience with an iPaaS such as Celigo integrator.io; Boomi, Workato, or similar platforms are also acceptable.
Experience working with webhooks and REST integrations from custom applications.
Strong documentation skills, including experience creating configuration inventories or field dictionaries.
Ability to read C# / .NET or similar code well enough to review integration contracts.
Strong communication skills with stakeholders, customers, and executives.

Strong Plus

NetSuite certifications such as SuiteFoundation, Administrator, SuiteCloud Developer II, or ERP Consultant.
Celigo integrator.io certification.
Experience in residential solar or construction operations.
Familiarity with NTP, PTO, permitting, HOA and insurance requirements, change orders, TPO vs. loan financing, Order-to-Cash, and project-based accounting in NetSuite.
Azure experience, including Functions, Service Bus, and Application Insights.
Experience leading a NetSuite developer or small technical team.
Experience taking over an existing system from another team and establishing structure and processes.
Demonstrated ownership and ability to improve systems that require greater structure, reliability, and business alignment.
