SKILLS REQUIRED

Primary (Must-Have):

• 8 to 10+ years of hands-on QA Testing experience with proven leadership capabilities (managing 4+ QA professionals)

• Strong Java SDET expertise (Advanced programming skills in Core Java, Java 8 and above)

• Robust UI & Mobile Automation experience utilizing Selenium and Appium frameworks

• Proficient in API Testing and automation using tools like Rest-Assured or HTTP Client

• Practical automation framework development and customization experience using Gherkins-Cucumber (BDD), TestNG, and Gradle

• Strong SQL scripting capabilities across various relational databases

• Hands-on experience in Agile methodology and DevOps, including integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins


Secondary (Good to Have):

• Experience with project estimation using TCP Estimation Methodology

• Deep understanding of Test Management tools, specifically JIRA, for tracking requirements and defect execution

• Experience performing Failure Analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production defects


POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an elite QA Lead for a high-impact, hybrid engagement based out of Alpharetta, GA. This critical role demands a seasoned Java SDET professional with over 8 years of hands-on experience and a natural capability to lead a dedicated team of 4 QA engineers. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between development and testing, driving automated testing strategies for business-critical applications, optimizing mobile and API validation frameworks, and partnering with global stakeholders within an agile financial services domain.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of 4 QA professionals while driving the end-to-end testing lifecycle for business-critical applications.

• Design, develop, and customize robust automated test frameworks from scratch utilizing Java, Selenium, Appium, Cucumber BDD, TestNG, Gradle, and Jenkins.

• Formulate comprehensive test plans, prioritize deliverables, and deliver precise project estimations using TCP Estimation Methodologies.

• Manage end-to-end requirements traceability, review test coverage, and perform deep-dive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production defects within JIRA.

• Oversee mobile automation execution, perform complex failure analysis, and continuously identify manual test cases feasible for automation conversion.

• Champion Agile processes by actively participating in daily Scrum calls, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, and Sprint Retrospectives.

• Track quality metrics, publish daily status reports to project stakeholders, and confidently provide critical Go/No-Go decisions for production releases.
