• A leading quantitative investment manager known for its advanced technology and data-driven research, delivering trading, treasury, risk and engineering services at scale

\n

• Group functions more like a tech company than a traditional hedge fund, and is mid-way through an ambitious technology and data transformation across the business

\n

\n

The Role

\n

\n
• Own end-to-end delivery of technology and data initiatives from inception through to implementation, acting as the connective link between business stakeholders and technical teams

\n

• Apply agile project management practices to plan, prioritize and track work, facilitating ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives where they add value

\n

• Build a strong working understanding of data flows, system architecture and technical dependencies, partnering closely with engineering and data leadership

\n

• Maintain governance and reporting across the project lifecycle, and influence stakeholders across business and technology functions, including some outside direct reporting lines

\n

• One year fixed-term mandate based in Connecticut, hybrid in-office

\n

What They're Looking For

\n

\n
• A strong track record delivering technology and data-focused projects in complex, matrixed environments, ideally within financial services, a hedge fund or an alternatives business

\n

• Practical agile project management experience; Scrum Master certification or hands-on experience is a strong plus

\n

• Solid understanding of data and architecture concepts, comfortable engaging credibly with engineering and data teams on technical trade-offs

\n

• Strong influencing skills, able to align stakeholders and drive decisions without relying on direct authority
