    What You’ll Do

    As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you’ll work closely with Production, Engineering, and Sales to ensure parts meet precise customer specifications. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Acting as a liaison between production, customers, and sales regarding quality concerns
    • Interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical standards
    • Selecting and testing products at different stages of production for dimensions, performance, and material characteristics
    • Recording and evaluating test data using statistical quality control procedures
    • Performing final inspections and generating detailed reports
    • Making recommendations to improve quality or production standards
    • Setting up and conducting destructive and nondestructive tests as needed
    • Using a range of precision inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and more
  • Qualifications

    Required:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • One or more years of experience in a related inspection, quality, or manufacturing role
    • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Preferred Experience:

    • Experience working in environments certified to ISO 9001 or AS9100 standards
    • Knowledge and hands-on experience with AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) reports
    • Familiarity with aerospace industry requirements and quality expectations
    • Lead or supervisory experience in a quality or manufacturing role
    • Proficiency with SPC tools/software
    • Skilled use of inspection tools and equipment including:
      • Calipers, micrometers, durometers
      • Optical comparators, CMMs
      • Rockwell hardness testers, eddy current meters, surface plates, protractors, and height gauges
    • Ability to document inspection results clearly and prepare formal reports
