Data Platform Lead Engineer - Snowflake & AWS

Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on Data Platform Lead Engineer with strong experience in Snowflake, AWS, SQL and cloud data engineering. This person will work with client stakeholders and provide technical guidance to our offshore data platform and engineering team.

Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Support solution design and implementation using Snowflake and AWS.

\n

• Provide hands-on Snowflake support including RBAC/security, environments, performance, cost optimization and data sharing.

\n

• Review SQL, data models, ETL/ELT pipelines and technical designs developed by offshore engineers.

\n

• Troubleshoot complex platform/data issues and support production deployments and RCA.

\n

• Work directly with client technical teams and coordinate technical activities with the offshore team.

\n

• Support new data products, analytics and AI/agent-related data initiatives.

\n

Required Skills\n

\n
• 4–7 years of Data Engineering/Data Platform experience.

\n

• Strong hands-on Snowflake and SQL experience.

\n

• Good working knowledge of AWS.

\n

• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, Data Modeling and ETL/ELT.

\n

• Experience with production data platforms and troubleshooting.

\n

• Good communication skills and ability to work directly with client and offshore teams.

\n

Preferred\n

Talend, AWS Glue, Python, Git/GitHub, Streamlit, SSO, Snowflake administration, GxP/Life Sciences and AI/Agent solutions.
