We are seeking an experienced Test Developer to design, develop, automate, and maintain comprehensive software testing solutions across our applications and systems. The Test Developer will work closely with software developers, QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify quality risks, develop automated test frameworks, and ensure software meets functional, performance, reliability, and security requirements.
The ideal candidate has strong programming skills, a solid understanding of software development and testing methodologies, and hands-on experience building automated testing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test solutions.
Build and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and test suites.
Develop test scripts using languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, or similar.
Create comprehensive test cases based on business and technical requirements.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, API, and end-to-end testing.
Identify, document, track, and communicate software defects.
Analyze test failures and work with developers to identify root causes.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with software engineers to improve testability and overall product quality.
Develop reusable testing components, utilities, and automation libraries.
Validate APIs, databases, services, and application integrations.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback related to testability and quality.
Monitor automated test results and investigate failures.
Contribute to test strategy, test planning, and quality engineering initiatives.
Maintain documentation for test frameworks, processes, and test environments.
Support performance, scalability, reliability, and security testing when required.
Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency and reduce manual testing effort.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
3+ years of experience in software testing, test automation, QA engineering, software development, or a related field.
Strong programming or scripting experience in at least one language such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#.
Experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle and software testing methodologies.
Experience with API testing and web/application testing.
Experience working with Git or another version-control system.
Experience working with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
Strong understanding of defect management and root-cause analysis.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar automation frameworks.
Experience with REST API testing and tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
Experience with Docker and containerized test environments.
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with SQL and database validation.
Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Experience testing distributed systems, microservices, or enterprise applications.
Experience with test management and defect-tracking tools such as Jira.
Knowledge of secure software development and application security testing.

Compensation
Annual Base Salary: $95,000–$140,000
Compensation will be based on experience, technical expertise, location, and overall qualifications.
