Job Description
About Powerus
\n
\n
Powerus is building a next-generation American autonomous systems platform designed to move, protect, and sustain critical assets in high-consequence environments. The company combines advanced autonomy, manufacturing capability, operational expertise, and strategic acquisitions to support defense, national security, critical infrastructure, and commercial operations globally.
\n
\n
Mission
\n
\n
Our mission is to deliver resilient autonomous technologies that strengthen national security, improve operational safety, and expand the capabilities of organizations operating in complex environments.
\n
\n
Why Join Powerus
\n
\n
Powerus autonomy functions include navigation, target recognition, and GPS-denied operation. Customers require measured performance against defined requirements before a capability is fielded.
\n
\n
This role determines how that performance is measured and runs the measurement, in simulation and in flight. The scope is mission-level autonomy behavior; firmware release verification is performed by the Hardware-in-the-Loop Test team.

- Define performance metrics and acceptance criteria for autonomy functions
- Design simulation and flight test campaigns to measure performance
- Build scenario libraries for simulation-based regression testing
- Analyze test results and report performance trends by release
- Identify failure cases and provide them to autonomy engineers
- Support customer test events and demonstrations with data and analysis
