Job Summary
Experienced Software Development and QA Engineer with 10+ years of expertise in designing and executing automated test strategies across web, REST APIs, and Voice/VoIP systems. Skilled in Selenium, Python, SQL, and CI/CD integration, with strong business analytical ability to understand critical application flows. Proficient in functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, defect management, and accessibility compliance. Hands-on with Splunk for log monitoring, Git for version control, and ITSM tools for incident tracking. Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality releases, while driving continuous improvement in QA processes and tools. Recognized for being proactive, accountable, and an effective communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Job Description/ Responsibilities/ Years of experience:
• 10+ years' experience in Software Development / Testing with Strong business analytical skills to understand the critical business flows for an application.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for REST APIs and web applications using Selenium and Python.
• Build and execute test automation strategies for Voice/VoIP/SIP-based systems and features.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across the application stack.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to validate data integrity and support test case design.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster release cycles.
• Use Git for version control and collaborative test code management.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application logs using Splunk to identify and diagnose defects.
• Conduct accessibility testing to ensure compliance with relevant standards (WCAG or equivalent).
• Manage and track defects/incidents through ITSM tools as part of the QA lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans.
• Clearly communicate test results, risks, and quality metrics to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and accountable.

1. Must have Proficiency in a scripting language for automation such as Python or JavaScript, also needs experience REST APIs test automation.
