About the Opportunity

\n

Our client is one of the largest independent branded beverage producers in the U.S. Its household-name brands are sold in grocery stores, mass retailers and warehouse clubs nationwide. The company has nearly $1B in annual sales and more than 1,000 employees across a national network of manufacturing and distribution sites.

\n

\n

The company is moving from Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 to Dynamics 365, and go-live is set for January 2028. They’re hiring an Application Support Analyst to help with the migration and then own day-to-day support of D365. This is not a development role. Development work is outsourced, so this person focuses on users, configuration, data and reporting.

\n

\n

What You’ll Do

\n

    \n
  • Take part in the AX 2012 to D365 migration, including pulling and validating legacy data from AX 2012
  • \n

  • Be the main application support resource for 100–120 business users on D365 and connected third-party systems
  • \n

  • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues and error messages, and find the root cause
  • \n

  • Configure D365 to meet business and process needs
  • \n

  • Build reports and pull data for users with SQL, SSRS and Power BI
  • \n

  • Support XML, SSIS and flat-file integrations
  • \n

  • Work with outsourced development partners on enhancements and fixes
  • \n

  • Help support a 24/7 manufacturing environment (after-hours calls are rare)
  • \n

\n

What You Bring

\n

    \n
  • 2–5 years of experience supporting an ERP system
  • \n

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Supply Chain Management (required)
  • \n

  • Experience with Dynamics AX 2012 R3 (strongly preferred)
  • \n

  • Ability to write SQL queries against Microsoft SQL Server
  • \n

  • Experience with XML, SSIS, SSRS, flat-file integrations and Power BI or a similar reporting tool
  • \n

  • A self-starter who digs into problems and works well with minimal supervision
  • \n

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work with remote teammates
  • \n

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
  • \n

\n

Nice to Have

\n

    \n
  • Experience in manufacturing, CPG or food and beverage
  • \n

  • Experience on an ERP implementation, upgrade or migration
  • \n

  • Some exposure to X++ or development (not required)
  • \n

\n

Why This Role

\n

    \n
  • A 10% bonus that has paid out at 100% for the past eight years
  • \n

  • You’ll learn D365 from the inside during a live migration
  • \n

  • A small, collaborative IT team where your work reaches the whole business
  • \n

  • A stable, growing company
  • \n
