NOC Technician I / II / III (Direct Hire)

Location: Ridgeland MS - (Onsite)
Job Type: Direct Hire

We are seeking NOC Technicians (Levels I, II, and III) to join a growing Network Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to build or advance their careers in telecommunications, wireless, and fiber network operations.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and troubleshoot network alarms and service issues.
  • Support wireless, fiber, and IP network infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot telecom equipment and transport circuits.
  • Coordinate issue resolution with vendors, field technicians, engineering, and internal support teams.
  • Resolve customer-impacting network incidents in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and maintain network performance and availability.
  • Investigate outages and assist with root cause analysis.
  • Prepare outage documentation and reports (Level II/III).
  • Provide technical guidance to junior technicians (Level II/III).
  • Support after-hours maintenance activities and critical network events (Level III).

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent telecommunications experience.
  • Experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or a similar telecommunications environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA), Long Term Evolution (LTE), and Internet Protocol (IP) networking is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operations environment.

Experience by Level

Level I

  • Entry-level or early-career candidates with technical education or equivalent telecom experience.

Level II

  • Minimum 2 years of Network Operations Center (NOC) experience.

Level III

  • Minimum 4 years of Network Operations Center (NOC) experience with advanced troubleshooting and outage management responsibilities.
