Position Summary
The Ivalua Consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, integrating, and optimizing Ivalua solutions for enterprise clients.
This is a highly client-facing role requiring a blend of technical expertise and consulting capabilities. The successful candidate will lead workshops, design sessions, configuration efforts, integrations, testing, deployments, and post-go-live support while serving as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Ivalua Configuration & Implementation
- Configure and deploy Ivalua solutions across multiple modules.
- Lead end-to-end implementation efforts.
- Configure workflows, alerts, reports, user interfaces, and integrations.
- Support business and technical design activities.
System Integration
- Design and support integrations between Ivalua and ERP systems.
- Work with platforms including SAP, Oracle, Workday, and similar enterprise applications.
- Develop technical documentation and integration specifications.
- Optimize system performance and data flows.
SQL & Technical Development
- Develop SQL queries for workflows, notifications, reports, and dashboards.
- Configure custom business rules and system automations.
- Participate throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
- Support testing, debugging, validation, and production deployment.
Client Consulting
- Facilitate client workshops and solution design sessions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor throughout implementation projects.
- Support requirement gathering and stakeholder alignment.
- Manage client expectations and change requests.
Testing & Deployment
- Lead unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Support cutover planning and go-live execution.
- Provide post-deployment support and hypercare services.
- Resolve production issues and critical defects.
Project Delivery
- Manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Maintain project quality standards and deliverable timelines.
- Ensure technical and functional best practices are followed.
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Must-Have Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Ivalua configuration experience.
- Ivalua L2 Certifications required.
- Ivalua L3 Certification preferred.
- Experience within the last 5 years working with Ivalua implementations.
- Strong SQL development skills.
- Enterprise software implementation experience.
- Experience integrating Ivalua with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday.
- Strong client-facing consulting experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to independently lead workshops and design sessions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ivalua L3 Certification.
- Procurement or sourcing platform implementation background.
- Technical architecture experience.
- Systems integration expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
