We are a forward-looking ISP building and operating on-prem AI systems for internal use and customer deployments. This is not a chatbot role and not a research position. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining real hardware + software platforms that host large language models with web-based interfaces.
We are looking for someone who can take incomplete requirements, ask the right questions, and turn them into reliable, working systems.
What You’ll Work On
- Designing and deploying on-prem LLM platforms (Mac or Linux based)
- Configuring hardware and operating systems for AI workloads
- Running and maintaining LLMs behind internal or customer-facing web interfaces
- Writing Python scripts to glue systems together and automate workflows
- Troubleshooting failures across hardware, OS, networking, and application layers
- Supporting deployments under real-world constraints (time, budget, uptime)
Required Experience
- Hands-on experience deploying LLMs locally (personal projects or professional)
- Strong Python or java scripting experience
- Comfortable working in Linux and/or macOS via the command line
- Experience building or configuring full systems (hardware + OS + software)
- Ability to take vague or evolving ideas and produce concrete solutions
- Strong time management and ability to work under pressure
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Networking fundamentals (ISP or enterprise environments a plus)
- General IT and systems administration knowledge
- Hardware selection, assembly, or troubleshooting experience
