Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Project Assistant to support a high-visibility consumer products event in Dallas, Texas. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, public-facing environment and can help keep on-site operations organized and running smoothly. The role will focus on coordinating booth activity, assisting with product sample distribution, and delivering a positive experience for event attendees.
Responsibilities:
• Support the setup and day-of coordination of the branded event space, ensuring materials and giveaway items are ready for attendees.
• Help manage the distribution of product samples and promotional items while maintaining an organized and welcoming booth area.
• Provide friendly, responsive assistance to visitors and answer basic event-related questions with professionalism.
• Coordinate with on-site vendors, drivers, or event support staff to confirm that inventory, ice, and other supplies are available when needed.
• Monitor booth activity throughout the event and communicate any operational issues quickly so they can be resolved efficiently.
• Assist with identifying key event assets and supply locations, including nearby staging or refrigerated storage areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly workspace that reflects brand standards during the full event schedule.
• Support breakdown activities at the end of the event and help account for remaining materials and supplies.• Previous experience in customer service, event support, or a similar public-facing role.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage courteously with large groups of attendees.
• Comfortable working outdoors and remaining active for extended periods during an event.
• Able to follow directions carefully and adapt to changing on-site needs in a fast-paced setting.
• Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently while also supporting a broader team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling samples, giveaways, and event materials.
• Ability to lift and move event supplies within reasonable limits as needed.
