Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator / Data Warehouse Specialist to support the development and enhancement of a centralized enterprise data warehouse and analytics platform.
The role will focus on building and maintaining data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, data models, and data warehouse/data lake solutions that support operational reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to move data between source and target systems.
- Extract data from various source systems and transform and load it into the enterprise Data Warehouse.
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT jobs for data warehouse and reporting solutions.
- Gather and analyze business and technical requirements.
- Translate requirements into detailed technical and data design specifications.
- Develop and maintain data models supporting data warehouse and data lake environments.
- Design efficient data integration and transformation processes.
- Perform data profiling, validation, cleansing, and transformation as required.
- Optimize data pipelines and database processes for performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot data integration, database, and pipeline issues.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, developers, analysts, and other technical teams.
- Support the development of reporting and analytics solutions.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, integrity, and availability.
- Document data flows, technical specifications, data models, and pipeline processes.
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of enterprise data warehouse architecture and solutions.
